Father Ray project

I took part in many extracurricular activities , and one of that activities is Father Ray Project. It is a very interesting activity , and I was interested in that activity , becuase I like to plat and to communicate with children. I want to give my service to children, becuase children are very important in our community and by maing children happy the whole comminuty will become a better place .

The aim of that project was to help children , and to have a good time with them . Different people took part in that activity. I spent a lot of time playing with children , and I was happy that I took part in that activity , because I use my skill to make the society better place . I immersed myself into community work other than in my own work .

That activity helped to develope different skills

• Communication skiils
• Leadership skills
• Service skills
• Work in a group project
• Different cultures
• To engage with issues of global importance.

I develope my communication skills which are think are very important. By working as a team member and by working with different people and with different children this skill was developed. In the future this will be a very big advantage becuase I want to be a manager. And to have a good communication skills I will have a good relationship with my workers and with the customers which are the most important factors in the business environment.

Leadership skills. There are different characteristics which can describe a good leader for example:

• Good organizer
• Good planner
• Good controller
• Good person
• A person who can motivate

The activity helped me to develope these skills. And by being a good leader and by having a good communication skills I will be a very successful person. During the activity we were organizing interesting games and we were planning how we can motivate the children becuase that was our main aim in this activity.

By communicating with people from different cultures I become a more open-minded person. If a person knows how to communicate with people from different cultures and the person has a knowledge about different cultures it is a very good skill. Beucase by communicating with different people you can better understand the issues of global importance.

I am very happy that I took part in this activity ....... becuase children are very very important for our community, they are the future of our planet and by having a happy children our planet will become a better place to live ..... !

KoH Chang Trip ( CAS trip )

1 of October , all IB students went to Koh Chang trip. For students who were year12 it was a CAS trip and for studnets who were year 13 that trip was a TOK trip .
In Koh Chang we stayed in IDEALS center which is very beautiful and interesting place which is situated near the jungle. All studnets had a very good time. That was my first year in Regent's School and that trip helped me:

• To make new friends.
• To become more risk-taker.
• To be a good communicator.

In Koh Chang I took part in different activities. One of that ctivities was kayaking. At firts I didn't want to do that activity because I thougnt that it is very dangerouse, but then I did that being a risk-taker is a very important skill. And i decided that I had to do it becuase it was very interesting to see how it was. It was the most interesting activity that I ever done .

After that actcivity we did another very interesting activity. We came back to the center from the beach by riding a bicycles and it took from us about 5 or 6 hours. The weather was very stormy however by being a good team member and by make a good decions I did that.

I took part in that activities with my friends, and my partner was Grant, it was interesting to have a partner becuase I learned a lot of things from that. I learned:

• How to be a team member
• How to work with the partner
• I learned to listen my partner and to share different ideas with him.
• I learned that by working as a team member the result will be much better.

During the activity trips I was using my critical thinking and I mad some good decisions, which helped us to finish the activity first. It took from us 8 hours to finish the whole activity , it was very interesting for me and for my friends. I hope that next time I will take part in another activity .

This trip was very important for me becuase it gave me more experience how to be a team member. At firts my aim was to win the competition, however I understood that to win the competition is not the most important thing. The most important thing was to learn about yourself. The activities helped me to know about my weaknesses and what I need to do to improve those weaknesses.

I understand that to be a good friend is very important. Becuase Grant helped me to win the competition adn I helped Grant to win his competition. I think that the time that I spent in Koh Chang was very productive.
