The outcomes were that I achieved my targets and I helped all team members in different ways.

How successful were you in achieving the objectives and why?

I think that I was very successful, because in all activities I achieved my targets and that activities helped me to develop new skills.

Did you encounter any difficulties and how did you overcome them?

There were some difficulties that I met for example at first it was difficult to communicate with different people from different cultures, however I developed my communicator skills and that skills helped me to overcome that problem.

How can you apply what you have learned to new situations?

I learnt different things form different situations and that new skills are going to help me to become a better person and that skills will help me in my future life.

I give my service to other people and to children because I like to help children how need my help and I like to help the environment and make the environment better place.	Caritas Thailand-The aim of this activity is to support the Burmese refuges. Kayaking-At first I thought that this activity is very dangerous, but then I took part in this activity and I use different strategies and different skills during the activity. Coin Challenge

Regent's School organizes different charities to help children or the community. The aim of these charities is to make our society better place. Every year in Regent's School there is a day durinh which all students, teachers and parents collect coins for the charity. This year the same event took place. The event is very interesting. Every year I help that charities by giving coins. This year I did the same thing becase I think that it is our responsibility to give money to the people who need money. I am happy that Regent's School organizes events which allows us to help our community and our planet

Loy Krathong

Loy Krathong is one of the best days in Regent's School. Everyone wear different cloths, however the cloths represent thai culture. There are different things which take place during that day. In Regent's School there are 4 houses and every house during Loy Krathong celebration represents his own dance and performance.

Different people sell different things during that day and the aim of that is to raise money for charity. Every year different people raise money for different charities and last two years I helped the charity by raising money and by representing my house during that day.

Boarding house activities

One piece of evidence of my educational success is that in 2009 I came to Thailand to continue my education in an international school. I came to Thailand as an international student from Armenia. Boarding house became my new home. At first it was difficult to live 7000km aeay from home from family and from friends. However Boarding house was the place which makes me better person and makes me a person who can live now without family. Boarding is the placewhere I made new friends and I am happy that I came to boarding house. Here in boarding house we are a one big family.

Boarding house gave me manu things and new skills. For example the skills that I got are:

I improve my english in boarding house, which I think is one of the main benefits.

Here in boarding house I mad new foreign friends. I learnt about different cultures, and how to communicate with different people form different cultures. Here in boarding house I became a responsible person I became a person who is willing to work and to achieve to goals. I start work independently to achieve my goals. I becmae a very postive person. I think that the things that boarding house gave me nothing else can give.

There are different interesting activites including including sport, environmental, and intellectual ones. These activities helped me to develop new skills which will be very useful for my future. For example from these activities I have learned how to communicate with different people from different nationalities and how to be more responsible .What are my strengths and weaknesses and what I need to do to improve my weaknesses? I have learned to share my ideas with different people, and to give the best solution to a problem. I have acquired a lot of knowledge and experience from these activities

There are very intereting environmental activities which makes us to help people and environment. The aim of these activities is to make our society better place.

Sports activities are very interesting and very useful in the boarding. To be a healthy person I think is the most important thing in this life. Becuase person can have buy everything, however nobody can buy a healthy life.

Boarding house gave me the opportunities of taking part in different sports activities.

The boarding staff sometimes organize some quiz nights. I like to take part in that quiz night, becuase I can learn a lot of things from that quiz nights. That quiz nights make us to understand what kind of knowledge we have. Becuase if person have a lot knowledge that person can be a successful person in his life. The quize nights make us to read more books about different things.

I think that the boarding house gave me a lot of things for example new skills, knowledge and experience. I am happy that I spent 2 years in boarding house, becuase I know that the knowledge and the skills that boarding house gave me will be very useful ui my future life.

Baraza Groups

Design and Technology

Design and technology is one of my IB subjects. I like that subject very much because I am interested to become a designer or a marketing manager. To understand and to have a knowledge about the design of any product is very important if you want to be a good designer or a good marketing manager.

There are different stages in that subject and one of that stages is that we should make a completely new product. It is very difficult to make a new product however I use all my creativity skills to make a new product. A make a new house with a bridge. I think that it is very good new product, becuase it helps to connect to houses together by using a simple bridge.

There are different stages in that design proces for example: researching, developing idea, evaluating. Thses all stages require different skills and different way of thinking. I was getting a pleasure by making a new product, becuase I think that this product can be a useful in the real life situation.

I use my manipulative skills to make a model of that product and to show that to other people. The model helps me to generate new ideas, to communicate with different people and the most important thing was that I started to listen what other people are thinking about the product.

I use different type of materials and equipments. I use CAD modelling. I develope new skills by working with different equipments and by doing a CAD modelling.

This design process was very interesting for me and I hope that the product that I made will be very useful in the real life situation.

Clean Up the World

Clean Up the World is one of the activities which is relatde to the environment and to the cleanless of the environment. Regent's School is situated near Pattaya which is very beautiful however dirty city. The beach near Pattaya is dirty becuase of different external factors for example bars. restaurants and ships. However Regent's School organized a program and the aim of that program is to clean one of the beaches of Pattaya which is very dirty.

I think that this is very interesting and very good program, becuase the aim of the program is to make our community more cleaner which i think is very important becuase by having a clean environment it wll have very big effect on the population and on sustainable development which is now a huge problem.

I use all my skills and my experience to use that time productive. I was aiming to clean the beach as mush as possible, and I did it, after that day the beach was very clean, and the people who were living near the beach were happy too.

Pattaya Orphanage

Pattaya orphanage is one of the activities that i was doing every week in year 12. I was doing that activity becuase I was thinking that it was my responsibility to help that orphans. My opinion is that everyone should help that children, becuase they are part of our society and they are important part of our society.

I was getting a pleasure to spend my time with children. I was making them happy by playing with them and by telling them interesting stories. I think that I have very big positive effect on that children, and they will continue to remember me always, becuase I was one the person who wanted to make them understand that they are part of the scoeity. Every orphan has its own place in our community.

During that project I not only comminicate with children. I and some other students build new toys for children and we were painting the walls of the whold orpahange. I was trying to give my service asa much as possible. I was working very hard to make improvements becuase I think that it is one of my responsibilities to help that children and to amek their life better.

The service that I gave to these orpahns will have a very big impact in society. Becuase I was trying to help children who are the most important things in our community and for our planet. Now I can proudly say that I helped me community.....

Croston House Children Home

Whilst at Regent’s I took part in different activities and one of that activities was Croston House walk which is part of the Croston House Children Home. Croston House Children Home provides an opportunity of a brighter future. The mission statement of the organisation is :

'' Our aims and objectives are defined by the Thai government’s view as to what a children’s home should be providing for the children in its care rather than any particular Foundation’s though they are, by and large, the same as our own views as to how the home should be run. The welfare system in Thailand is much weaker than it is in most Western countries in terms of both its structure and the resources that the civil servants who are entrusted with maintaining it have available to them. Although obtaining Foundation or charitable status in Thailand can be an extremely time consuming and tedious affair, once it has been achieved, there is considerably less interference in the day to day management of the Foundation than in many other countries, and for that I for one am extremely grateful. ''

I took part in this activity becuase I was interested in their mission statment. The organisation helps children which I think is very important becuase by helping children and by giving them our support the community will become a better place, becuase children are part of our community and are the most important things in our community.

I use my skills to make the society better place. I gave money to the foundation, because I think that it is my responsibility to help children who are in a bad situation. I use my caring and my communication skills to help children and make sure that they feel comfortable in the community.

One of the projects that the foundation organized was Croston House walk On Friday 5th September 2008 by taking part i raised money to support Croston House Children's Home in Lamphun. I walked 13km for that foundation and for raising money for children. And now I can say proudly that I did a very good thing for my community and for our planet

International Day is one of the most important events in Regent's School. The aim of the day is to bring all nations of Regent's School together. It is a very interesting a day and many events take place during that day. For example

• International Cafe and music on the World Stage
• Country performances on the World Stage
• World Fashion Show
• Parade of nations grand finale

Last year I took part in different events for example I was representing my country Armenia in fashion show. At firts I didn't want to do that becuase it was difficult to do a fashion show in front of general public. However as I already had a risk-taker skills I did the fashion show for my country.

I used different skills to contribute to that events for example

• Leadershup skills
• Organising skills
• Planning skills

I was one of the leaders of my country, and I planned a lot of things for that day. For example I planned how Armenian performanc is going to be and how we are going to design our room. My skills helped to present Armenia during that day.

I think that the day was very interesting beciase I learned abour different things for example about different nations, about food of different countries and about different traditions. I made different friends during that day for example russian and thai friends.

This day has a very important place in Regent's School. During that day we raised money and then we are using that money to support different events (issues of global importance) for example:

Internationald Day has a significant place not only in our school it has a big place in our community too.
