Senior Choir

In Regent's School I took part in a choir. At firts it was boring for me, however as time past I started to love it, becuase that new challenge gave me new skills and that new skills helped to achieve a higher grades in my IB course. It was very interesting to learn how to sing different songs and to be a team member. During the concerts our choir was taking part by offering differentv songs. I took part in different concerts for example:Chritmas Concert , International Day concert , and I was very happy that Regent's School game me an opportunity to be a member of the choir.

There are different skills that this activity hlped me to develop, and I am sure that these skills will help me in my university studies.

The skills that I got:

• To be a risk-taker
• To be a open-minded person
• To be a responsible person and a achievebale person
• To be a teamworker.

I become a risk-taker, becuase to sing in front of public is a difficult chllenge. Before choosing this activity when I was standing in front of public I was getting a nervous. However now after taking part in this activity I am more confident to have a speech in front of public. These helps to not only to become a good public speaker, this helps to take part during the classes more and more. I started to share my ideas with classmates. This skill helped me to take part in different activities, and to be a better person for Regent's School.

To be a open-minded person is a a very good skill and this activity helped to to become a more open-minded person. I started to be more interested in classical music. The activity changed my taste towards the jusic I started to listen more classical music. The classical music is very important because many scientists find out that it helps to concentrate. The classical music has a very big effect on brain.

I become a more responsible and achieveble person. It was very difficult to take part in different activities during the IB course. However by planning a time and being a responsible person I wnet to that activity.

As you know in choir the teamworking is the most important thing. By being a team member that was an vey interesting and that motivates me. Becuase human relations are very important and by being a team member I started to share my ideas with different people, which makes a more friendly person.

I become a better comminicator, which is very important because in the future I want to become a manager, and the communication is a very important in business environment.
